TEC3R - Full Sequential Mode - Cam Sensor Wiring?
*
Is anyone running a TEC3R in full sequential mode? If yes, did you have issues getting the cam sensor to not error out? If you got it to work. Exactly how did you wire it? What pull-up resistor did you use? Did you connect the shield wire? Thanks! * Last edited by DSM; 04-09-2013 at 09:17 PM.. |

Don't know the answer, but your last question about using a shield wire piqued my interest.
I'd imagine the "shield" wire is your main cam sensor signal wire. So yes, I'd imagine you hook it up. What does TEC tell you to do? There's some knowledgeable folks here who are good with electrical circuits/wiring. Maybe post the diagram and see what we can figure from it. ![]() |

The shield wire usually refers to a ground wire the runs through the wire jacket. It's only supposed to be grounded on one end to combat signal interference.
