HKS AIC user manual needed
My 86 930 has a HKS Aditional Injector Controller system installed. I am not able to use the system because I have not been able to find any information on how to set it up. I called HKS and they couldn't help me, they said my dial analog system is too old.
If anyone has a manual for it, I would be happy to purchase a copy. Mac

Sorry can't help with the HKS. If you want to upgrade to a digital injector controller with two channels and logging, my never-fitted Split-Second AIC1 is up for grabs because I changed direction Split Second AIC1-019-1 (additional injector controller)

AIC Tuning
This is how I hav mine set-up-- I have 7006-bb dual exhaust-sc cams-msd6al-andial intercooler..front oil cooler-1bar spring-plugs gaped 0.28-0.32-blah-blah... I have been playing around with mine and I think my settings are good for me..Can't find the manual ![]() 12 o'clock correct.. ON--1st button ok...Going from left to right... 2nd button-Rev off set I can see 1030-11-00..You are delaying/the start rpm at approx 4OOO RMS.The WUR-usually starts to RUNS Rich when hitting the 3000rpm mark .The gain is quite minimal.. I would put the gain-3rd button( at 2-30-3-00...If you don't have fuel on top--U will go lean and break something... 4th button-Gain/off/boost off should be approx 12-00--or 11..This were boost comes in at apporx 3000-3200.. 5th button-The boost gain/button on the right--should be also at approx-2-30-3-00..U will have fuel to 6000rpms-...Having this, 1bar should be stable-when doing top end runs...There should be enough fuel.. 2&4 buttons is for delay/starting point for the 2-rpm & 4-boost 3&5 buttons is how much fuel dumping.. I will take a pic-and send it to u of my set up.. If you can find open road and minimal amout of cars and dusk approaching(able to see the digital/graph light up) more helpful to dial in...Its crude but it works for me..You need patience and good senses to dial it in right. Thanks Walt, I really appreciate your post. I'm looking forward to your picture. I've looked around the net numerous times and have found no info on this system, I'm so glad you saw my post.
My car is set up very similar to yours, including the SC cams. Soon after I bought the car couple of years ago I had my mechanic install the BB exhaust that came with the car and tune it up. When I got the car back from my mechanic I noticed a significant performance increase. It took me a little while to get relaxed in it when getting on it! I dyno'd the car last year and it put down 275hp and 290 torque at the wheels, no wonder it feels so good.

Greetings Mac
![]() I did top-end rebuild back in 1994. This was pretty much the only system in the early 90's.. If I had eruo lines-most likely i wouldn't have put it in...But safety 1st... I would think you would have a little more HP- with your mods...hmm. ![]() Walt |

I'm not running headers and it was running rich when it was on dyno. Perhaps this was due to a slight boost leak I've since repaired, I'll see when I get it back on the dyno later this year.

Matsuzaka - I posted pictures of my HKS AIC on Rennlist in answer to your post there. Please keep me in the loop when you find a user's manual.
Thanks, Claude |
