New owner introduction, 1986 Meteor 930

Hi, I'd like to introduce myself and the 1986 930 that I own. I got bit by the turbo bug pretty well, and happened across a perfect car (for me, at least) in a favorite color and with enough miles to be clean, but not so low that I'm afraid to drive it. The car has 113k miles, all original equipment, sport seats and locking diff.

Drove the car home 400 miles with my buddy Criss, who recently purchased a GPW '87 930. The car ran like a champ, and even better after *ahem* clearing out the carbon from sitting around and short trips.

Looking forward to learning about these amazing cars. I'm also very thankful to be at a point in my life to enjoy these great cars and even better friends!

Cheers
Bryant

Congrats! Very cool and great color. Can you provide a little detail on the wheels? They look like 17". I have a dark colored 930 (marine blue) and am looking at Fuch style options. Nice work and love the fact your first ride in it was the journey home. Enjoy!

Thanks, it was a great way to break in the car. The wheels are stock Fuchs, 16x7 and 16x9 which are chromed with a 'RSR' paint scheme. I'm not a big fan of chromed wheels but they look really good.

Congrats and she's a beauty!

Sadly for me, with your 400 mile trip, you have more miles in your 930 than I have on mine in over a month. Stupid NJ winter...

This was my car. I'm really glad to see it went to an enthusiast who will enjoy it for all the same reasons I chose this car. Well kept with some miles so I didn't feel guilty when I wanted to drive it. It's plenty nice to be proud of. Congratulations on your (my) car. It is beautiful.
