Richard -- you've been running it like that since May 2013? Dude, shoulda let us know! Let's fix that for you whenever is good for your schedule. Maybe the next time you're out of town for a while and the car is parked?

After the fitment problem on Thomas', and the misalignment of the coil bracket mount on Ken's about a week later, we revised our manufacturing fixtures and verified fitment on an all-stock 1988 930. We'll drop your IC into this fixture, make the necessary adjustments and get it back to you. :-)

Thanks Chris - like I said I thought it was of my own doing and that a little fiddling would fix when I got the opportunity. With all the business travel I've been doing (and working from home when I'm actually here) plus the arrival of another baby, that opportunity just hasn't presented itself and I've barely put a few hundred KM on it since the install :(

Anyway, I'll shoot you some pictures and we can coordinate

Gsxrken, it looks really good!

Richard, please change those hose clamps :)

Made some progress. Air cleaner modded and TIG'd up to clear the intercooler neck. Think I'll spray bomb it for now and get it all powder coated over the winter. Curious to know if anyone reproduces the stickers?

Excellent tig work. A can of Dupont Trim paint in black will do the trick. Might not even need to powder coat it.

x2 - I had one done a few years back for about $10.
Replacing the hard line + shipping was about 50x that!

No 930 projects for me at the moment...

...unless you count killing bugs and burning up fuel with it.

Running errands yesterday out at the country house. I happened to fall in behind a Carrera GT. Holy sheet that thing sounds otherworldly. Now where did I put that $400k? I want me one of those!

So I noticed last week that I had no more tow point due to the GT3 front suspension
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1410394249.jpg

so what to do? I called Rennline and ordered a pair(I could have went with one but I wanted the balance look( of their version of front bumper shocks with the threading for a Tow hook.
Tape and remove bumper strip

remove front bumper and bumper shocks

I installed and aligned the new bumper shocks...I also drilled the necessary holes and tested everything prior to final mount. The Tow hooks are sticking out.

Plugs are in the front bumper strip...was a pia at time but easily done..now I hope to never use them...lol

No More Puny Factory Cams

A bump to get this thread going again after all this *yawn* talk about Turbo market pricing...

3.4L 930
EFI and flat manifold, 36mm heads
GHL headers, GT35R, twin 3" straight pipes
full width intercooler
1.1bar boost

Comparison of factory SC cams vs TK's EFI-T camshafts.
The torque gain at 3,000rpm says it all.
Turbos.
Meant to be driven, hard.

Excellent results with that build, Chris! And I totaly agree with the "yawn" bit - these things are meant to be driven hard and modified often. Eff the "low miles & stock" philosophy, for sure! :D
