Yet another Special Turbo For Sale..

Couldn't resist posting this one since I really like slatnnose cars, and especially in the flavor of DP or Kremer!

Ha! That's funny Rey, I'm full-up right now.. I just need to put some of this stuff back together and Drive!

I would however love to add that to the stable!

On some of the 1 wiper DP's the windshield was lengthened 1-2 inches. That looks like one of them, but I could be wrong. Someone emailed me a bunch of years ago saying it took him a few years to get a replacement. It would be worth more investigation.

I'm not a huge fan of slants. Even less of a fan of red, but it will be driving 25 mins next week to look at that one. My gut says it's got more than 19 k on the clock. We will see

Good eye on the windshield. Great aerodynamic addition, but $$$$$ and hard to get.

That's a MODE (Bob Holcomb) intercooler.

Now THAT is a special wish if I ever saw one. My favorite thing is it doesn't have a F*c#'n stock part on it. What a bad ass machine!

Take the bumperettes off the rear bumper, loosen the 4 nylocks that hold the bumper on, push it up as far as it will go on the mounting studs and tighten the nylocks.
Then that gap between the top of the rear bumper, rubber gasket, and rear reflector will be gone.

geebus

thanks for sharing that Paul

agreed, one of the uberest slant's I've seen... reallyreallyREALLY damn cool!

looks like they changed the rocker graphics from gold to black from the ad pic, and the wheels to what appear to be BBS Motorsport's... which IMO suit the car sosososo well now

odd tho it doesn't have the rear bumper w/ the integrated tail lights - I really prefer those on dp's

and golly, my AIR/dp front valance fits *entirely* better than that one - that's waaaay off on the driver's side

interesting gem of info Frank, be interesting to hear your live observations

any of you know'ed ones have a value guesstimate on something like that (if the miles were true) - just querious on the market

super weird on a car of that caliber they'd present it w/o a $3 insert cap for the passenger lock knob - or a $10 ignition key bezel that takes 0.004seconds to replace?

dubious is the 600hp claim - surprised not to see twinplug

the center console RULES

Harold, thanks for pointing that windshield tidbit out - had no idea, one of those things that now that you say it, it's all that I see now... too cool

Frank - report back. Odo scammers suck. And find out the ask...

Nice car. Love the wheels, the best besides Fuchs...
Funny to see the cut-out for the belts I'm the head rest. My factory recaro's have the same.

The front hood is also unique, it goes up to the windshield. The wiper is integrated into the hood.

I do not like the way Slants look (but my opinion doesn't count anyways as I don't have a 930 ), but that one does kind of look good to me.

Yet more details, the hood is countersunk to replicate the fins on the race cars. The front windshield is extended forward at the bottom for more rake, that's where the longer length comes from. Custom dash top. First time I've seen a DP tach like that. A bit strange are the Euro bumper strips with the lights and the US impact over riders.
With the 8+k shift point and the boost tattletale at 1.3 I'd be figuring on some engine work.
To me, what puts it over the top is the RED.
It would be a fun car to buy and play with. Replace the seats with DP lollypops, either cut out or replace the sunroof section (45 lbs on top can't be good), and paint it a dark, low key color. Of course if I could afford that I'd ship it back to DP for the mods.
