Grand kids ready for a ride. Their mother who was riding in this car at 3 never had the child seat deal. My daughter told me they get that first "ride" when I get a legit car seat.

This looks perfect. My car is in getting coilovers and raised spindles as well. Can you share what your fender heights are - I'd like to use your car as a guide.

Thanks!

hot DAMN - ^that^ is simply PERFECTION IMO!!! More pics!!!

Those Zuff Fuchs? Really hard to tell being so low, could be stock 16" Fuchs I guess w/ the car that low making them look larger than they are? I don't see valve stem supports.

Here's mine, ER 500# c/o's in rear, rest of suspension stock:

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-t...005_182953.jpg

Had to roll the fenders as my offset is for a narrow body and I'm running a fair amount of spacer... and 255/295 muwhahahahahaa . Had to dial up the LF a smidge @ the track as it still rubbed a tad on the outer edge w/ my instructor aboard.

Seeing the way your car and Rey's sit definitely does have me contemplating eventually swapping out my 18" Fikse's for 17" Zuff Fuchs... as much as mine are near porn jewelryesque and I REALLY am digging the fricking PHENOMENAL cornering traction I now ohso Just Not Rightly enjoy (90* turns @ 45mph+++?).

That extra 1" diameter brings the whole perspective of the car UP correspondingly high. I reeeeeeeeeally like the way the rear haunches friggin SQUAT w/ 17's. Things that make me go hmmmm. tho I'd neverevereverever go back to 16's... heck... I'm roasting off the 295s when the wick lights! Both back fender valances are coated in a gooey black haze - d'oh (can be seen if look closely in pics).

Les, damn sir - congrats on finally ridding your car of them insipid Twists!!! :D (I know, as you'd said those were "the shiit" back in the day - now, not so much lol)

I've always thought your '76 deserves to be re-back-dated to it's glory (sorry!). While the RSR's are pretty ballar, me I'd still aim for ridding the mirrors / F&R bumpers / spoiler... they do look good on your car... but... your car is a SEVENTY SIX sooooooo........

Awesome pics of your grandkids romping around in there, that's so cool you've got pics of multigenerations doing such to show them later down the road. Too funny on car seats - the rear buckets of these are effectively car seats IMO... just graft in some 3pt'ers and Bob's yer uncle heh heh.

_KOZ_MO_!!!_!!!_... where TF you been my friend? What's your latest??? You were soooooo close, then... *POOF!* Silence. Talk to us.

I kept the original bumpers, trim, mirrors. Right now I have it exactly the way I want it. The next steward of this car can fix it back to stock looking if they want to.

I'm getting it on a dyno next week to see what kind of #'s it puts up on AFR. Then sending the wur in to be calibrated for optimum #'s. I have never really taken any trips in this car since the latest engine mods and I'm thinking it is getting pathetic mileage now as opposed to 7 years ago when it got those mods.

HOLY CRAPoLA !

Paul in response .....
after beating myself to death , I finally relaxed for awhile and figured out all the stupid "PO F**k ups" and short cuts and a few long distance phone calls and it is finally running . OH HELL ! does it sound good ...
Can't wait to add my photo to this thread "How low can you go "
Quack , how low was your car ? I'm pretty flat around here so just asking ? 2 3/4 ?
But it will be good stance you can bet on that :D close to rubbing I'm sure...

Hey there Kozmo,

You hit it spot on at 2-3/4" from the bottom of the front spoiler lip.

I like where mine sits. The PO set it up this way. I may add some wider wheels on the back and raise it slightly if space is needed.

One of the best looking 930's! Every detail is the way I like it.

speednme1 10-19-2014 06:07 PM

Thanks Tippy..I really appreciate the kudos...it's funny ever since I saw a Red 930 drive by me years ago(mind you I was in my previous 94 3.6 Turbo at the time) I always wanted one. Glad I finally did one the way I always envisioned it....not to everyone's taste but certainly to mine..;)
