What is the best AFR meter for use on several cars for tuning?
Thank you

I’m a fan of AEM. Had had Innovate too.

I guess the key to this question is "several cars" and I'm not familiar with most offerings. I have had pretty good luck with Innovate LM-2 on my car. With "several cars" in mind, you can use the cigarette lighter for power and there is a portable exhaust clamp available for moving the 02 sensor from one vehicle to another.

Another user of the innovate LM-2

I’ve heard of some that had noise or other setup issues, all solvable, I didn’t have any issues, just plug and play. I’ve updated the firmware a few times, now every so often it doesn’t log the 2nd O2 sensor, but it hasn’t been enough of a problem to try and troubleshoot…

I stuck with their products across 3 cars now so i can interchange sensors, wires, gauges, etc.

Installed an AEM and the O2 sensor was dead out of the box. Sensor had no Bosch script (Probably counterfeit). AEM WOULD NOT STAND BEHIND IT. I resorted to another sensor from OReiley's that had Bosch script printed all over it which functioned correctly. No more AEM for me.

Similar experience. The innovate stuff is much better made. Obvious as soon as you open the box.

Exact experience minus AEM
giving me a 2nd counterfeit that failed quickly too. Like minutes.

Went AutoZone and bought legit Bosch 4.9 and all is fine for months now.
