67 S 911 distributor curves.
Hi.
My 68 911 has a 67S engine that is yet to run. I'm getting it ready for a start soon. My distributor is a 001 which I believe is the 68 911 distributor. It should have a 002 I believe. Shall I get it re curved or will it be fine for a weekend driver. Here in Australia we have 91 95 and 98 fuel. Thanks Lyndon |

The only curves I can find in the original repair manual. The S curve should work.

I've got that. The std 68 911 is a little different.
I'm guessing as a run about it be fine as it not to different. They both have the same dynamic at 6000 rpm Thanks Lyndon. |

I think if you used the S curve for a guide you should be in the ball park. With the S cam and compression, which I think was the same for all the 2,0s, there is somewhat less advance. Should be easy to adjust your distributor's curve to match.
