Excatly. Our tests show 22% better flow than conventional butterfly ITBs. Some have been concerned about part throttle response, but we do not have any issues with that due to the oval design.

yes they are beneficial... we had barrel throttle ITBs on our Western Washington University race cars 30years ago. It ended up winning the Pike's Peak hill climb in the experimental division with smashing the track record. 2 place was a minute behind as I recall
