Hi guys,
I've searched the forums but can't find it. My question is: should I lubricate, or not, the ball sockets on the ends of the push rods going to the throttle bodies in my '69 911E? If so, with what? thanks, cheers, jt ![]()

Thanks Richey, And I finally found a way, last nite, to search the forum using multiple words to narrow the search. Then I found others saying they grease them also. Now I'm debating btwn Molybium (lithium base), and just white lithium. I imagine it's not a biggie which. Thougnts?
Thanks, cheers, jt ![]()

Thanks guys. I decided on white lithium. Added benifit is you can then see if you've got any in the sockets.
cheers, jt ![]() BTW: I'm happy to report that after 5 years of woriking on a complete engine rebuild, working off & on, I bolted the last pieces (air stacks) on her yesterday! Now all I've got to do is get the car ready to install the engine (gas tank & lines, brakes, transmission, .... )

We use a Liquimoly ceramic paste, sadly not commercially available. Our rep brings it in as samples for us from Germany. That said, any good lube that will stay in place and not dry out like anti seize would work well.
Cheers
