barometric cell MFI pump

Hi,

In the progress collecting parts to build 2.45 l engine(Henry Schmidt) I keep the option open to have a MFI instead of Webers. So did send my 2.2E pump to Germany for a check. One of the outcomes was the barometric cell was not functioning.

As I planned (looking forward)to work, adjust and tune the MFI pump myself based on all the great info on this Forum I need to find this Barometric cell.
So if anybody knows where I can buy one, please let me know!

Thanks,
Bart

We have a few. I just need to figure out how to test them.

Direct email is the best way to get my attention.
And because I get 200+ email a day, that method can be challenging as well.

Hi Henry,

Again, thanks for responding.

I really don't like you to go through all effort of testing.....

(Maybe first question is what you asking for them.)
As depending on that I can take the 'gamble' that it does work and do the testing here in the Lowllands!?

Cheers,
Bart

p.s. Would this work....put the cell in a bigger seal bag with air. Close the bag and put a load(pressure with your hands) on the bag.....It does not need a lot. I guess the cell will work 2 way (higher and lower pressure)
To achieve the lower air pressure one will need a bit more effort I guess . I also believe if the pressurizing works the cell is ok, right!? not sure if movement is visible by the eye...
