Perfect, so you did use 999 705 023 41. Your 3.6 case was machined for the o-ring groove when the spigot bore size was increased, to match an original 3.8RS case, correct?

Curil T is our go to when a copper gasket is present. The use of 1211 seems to be a better choice if an o-ring is failing to seal.
