				3.8???

Can 3.8 (993RSR) p's and c's be mounted on a 76-77 930 case? Would they work with an SC crank? Recommendations on the crank? Would it use 993RSR twin-plug heads? Finally, could one build this engine to run on carbs? Crankfire?

I'm trying to think up some absolute rocket-ship motor while still keeping some early car things intact (no computer ignition, etc.) BUT... How hard is it to build a VarioRam 3.6 ('96 993) to a 3.8RSR motor? Any change in intake? Thanks! |

I'm 99% sure that this won't work - the 3.6 cases are very different than the early Euro Carrera / Turbo / SC cases. I'm sure you can have custom ones made, but that would be big bucks...

You can get 100mm cylinders for use with these cases... -Wayne
