Case Washers

Hi

What sort of washer are on the Nyloc Nuts around the case?
The part no I can only guess is 900 031 014 30 (from the
ones that hold the cam chain boxes on, They are not shown on
the crankcase diag on PET), but are the just a flat 8mm steel
washers?

Thanks

Neven

We sell packs of these in our rebuild section:

You can also use the ones from a gasket kit that includes the hardware.

Hello ythere.

No they are not aluminium.. they are magnesium alloy and much harder than the usual Al. available.

If you use Al, they will crush after install and you will likley get leaks..

Kind regards
David
