Has anyone built an engine test stand
I'm planning to build my own engine test stand so I can prerun my motor rebuilds. Has anyone built there own test stand? If so, please send details/pictures. Thanks.

it wouldn't take long to just install it in the car and use it for the test stand. unless you're a production shop.

nobody in this town, as far as i know. paul weir used to advertize that he had one, but it was never completely hooked up, so it was basically a test stand.

I think that not everyone has an extra roller to put the motor in since not everyone is a repair shop but some do just straight up machine work.

I remember that dyno at Paul Wiers. It wasn't working when i was there. I wonder where it is.

Our engine dyno is used almost exclusivly for Porsche engines. We are fortunate to be associated with Land-and-Sea who has been able to integrate our request into their software package.
