CIS to Carb conversion - ? heads
When I rebuild my motor, I am going to use Webbers instead of the CIS. Is it necessary to weld up the injector "pockets" at the top of the intake ports on the heads or can they be left as is?

You need to get the special riser gaskets that PMO sells. Covers them right up. Order them at the same time you buy the updated jetting materials.
Make sure to port match the manifolds to the SC heads. The weber manifolds are typically smaller in diameter. Jamie

Make sure that you upgrade to a more aggressive camshaft, otherwise there's not much point...
