Very nice. What kind of coating on the motor mount and fan-powder?

I even love the ARP packaging, the studs look very cool!

Yes powder. Unfortunately the guy didn't do it in the color that I wanted, but I couldn't really complain for the price I don't guess.

It was suppose to be about the same titanium metallic as the wastegate.

PO'd wife....

Mine NEVER has given me any static on what I've spent on my car. Out of courtesy, I told her that I was starting to buy parts, so she would know. She made the mistake of asking me what the total was going to be, and was not happy with my bogus low estimate-if only she knew what it was really going to cost. I'm glad I'm doing this a chunk at a time over the next few months. She pays my credit cards off every month, so now I've got to go to cash! I feel like I'm laundering money.

Yes, my very first! of any kind.... I've never even rebuilt a go-kart motor...

A good friend of mine that I went to college with helped me out though, and he's built numerous V8 race motors. Never a Porsche engine, but in reality it is all very similar in concept I guess.

did you rebuild it for performance only or were you having any problems with the motor?

Yes, car was overboosting to 1.2 bar, with a stock intercooler. Not a good combination.

So I'm going EFI to for fuel and ignition control, 25x10x3.5 custom intercooler, and big injectors.

Its been a heck of a project.
