It is what it is. There are no 248 DynoJet's anywhere around where I live w/o traveling a good 60+ miles. It's not worth it. But I did call DynoJet and they told me that the numbers should be identical FWIW. Here's the description of the DynoJet 224X straight from the DynoJet web site: "The model 224x chassis dynamometer is designed with the Automotive tuning and Repair industry specifically in mind. The 224x has all of the same features of our "Officially Licensed by NASCAR" model 248x in a more compact package for the smaller shop, dealership or repair professional to integrate with existing equipment. Available in both Pit (shown) and Above Ground installation." TonyG

Tony I think you have an awesome engine. Don't take that wrong. The dynos are all good tuning tools. Just trying to make a data base with comparable dynos.
I know what the Dynojet 224 is and they say it even runs the same software as th 248. But clearly it does not or we would have the same print outs. You get your beast broken in good and I'll buy gas for the r/t drive to the 248 ![]() Just trying to tie down the loose ends with the info you have given us so I understand it. |

I've probably got over 500 dyno pulls on 3 different DynoJet 248's. 2 of the 3 were were running different software with different print outs (charts that did not look the same). There are many different versions of the WinPEP softwawe that can be run on the dynojets. Anyway... I would bet that the results are identical since the dynos are using the exact same technology. Now if it was a Mustang dyno.... then we'd have an issue... :-) TonyG
