Late 80's cams in an early 3.0?
When rebuilding my motor can I use a pair of cams reground on late 80's cores in a 3.0 Euro carrera motor? If so what other parts relating to the cams will I have to change over?

You'll need the bolts and big "washers" for the end.

ALL SC & Carrera &Carrera 3.0 cams are the same grind. The just used a 6° range of different timing specs.

I think he said that they were "cams reground on late 80's cores" i.e. not the stock cam grind.

Yup Chris, more radical cams for a high compression motor with carbs. From your post I understand that I just need to get the two bolts and washers to replace the old nuts and washers.

The late cores will work by changing the attaching hardware.
I have 3.0 billets with the nut style snout that will accept any grind.
