Will these fit on my 3.0L

No response from the technical forum so I thought I would post here.

Will 993 heat exchangers fit a 3.0L SC motor?

I know the passenger side exchanger will need to be cut at the ports, rotated and re-welded but I was wondering about the spacing between the ports?

Wayne,

I understand what you are saying but, if the 993 passenger side exchanger had the three inlets that mount to the heads cut off and rotated then re-welded, wouldn’t they then fit?

I know that guys have done this on 964 motors, so if they can do that for the 964 motors, then wouldn't the same exchangers fit on a 3.0L?

Do SSI's from a 3.0L fit on a 964 motor, I know the tube size wouldn't be correct for best performance but will they bolt up?

What I am wondering is if the spacing for the exhaust ports to bolt on the exhaust (headers/heat exchangers) is the same for a 3.0L, 964 motor and a 993 motor?

Thanks

AFIK SSI's will fit on a 964 motor. Exhaust port spacing is the same for all of those.
