Thanks Wayne. I guess I didn't ask the right question but you still got me the answer.

What I had in mind was whether it's possible to have an engine w/ CIS but at the same time somehow eliminate most of the complications/intricacies that come w/ a full CIS system.

I didn't consider carbs b/c I was wondering whether it's feasible ($$$) to keep the CIS but w/o having it be the limiting aspect of a motor's potential, hence the thought of ITBs.


To change this topic a bit, if I start w/ a 3.0 SC engine, what parts are needed to make it a 3.2? Is it a simple task of locating Carrera P/Cs? Crank? How much improvement would I see if I also added Carrera's intake system?
