Racing IS differen't- Nothing to do with which is superior to the other, it is much more likely to wreck your car and or engine.
The difference between racing and tracking is very important when it concerns the health of the engine. The reason is simple the extra impact of the competition causes the drivers to push it just a little to a whole lot more than they would just tracking it. For some reason watching someone pull past you causes one to hang in there for just a few more rpms or whatever and consequently far more engines are over revved and pushed further beyound their ability, damn the cost. Probably closer to the final national championship timed run for the scca but every time the car is driven in a race. There is also the adrenilin a whole lot of it. I have done a lot of track time and also raced. There is NO comparason in the adrenilin compartment and that drug clouds judgement quite a bit. Dont't think so? Try it, Vintage racing is "safe". Then tell us what YOU found. Racing is also HEAVEN on earth. Don't tell the DEA about those endorphins signed , clearly hooked Last edited by snowman; 03-23-2005 at 07:33 PM.. |
