How do i remove the sprocket behind can gear?
I removed the cam gear from my 964. But how do I remove the sprocket flange (#15 see pic)? It seemed stuck. Do I use a gear puller?

Try not, Do or Do not

Two rolling head bars (lady fingers) or and gear puller will work fine. The gears should not be very tight.

My cam gear popped off easily with a gear puller, but the woodruff key was troublesome. I had to push down interior end enough to get front to pop up enough to lever up with a small screwdriver. All this was after the key\cam soaked an evening in WD-40. I hope yours pops out with ease!

just set a screwdriver blade into the front of the key and tap with a hammer lightly and it rolls right out. grab it with some dykes to finish the job.

I used a gear puller, and pulled it out. This board is fantastic.

Mark,
As long as you are rough, they don't mind.
