Technical measures - cylinder headstuds

Hi Guys

I need som help with technical measures. I want to make a drilling fixture for repairing the head stud thread. The case is a 7R magnesium from a 2,7 liter engine.

Does anyone know the exact measures/specifications of placement and distances between the headstuds + cross measures? I have attached a picture - basically I need the distances marked with red lines. All measures from center of hole

Thanks and have a great new year

Søren

80mm x 80mm. They form a square.

correct for all the engine cases up thru the '75 2.7s, and the '76-77 2.7s but for the '76 thru '89 3.0 & 3.2 it's 86mm

And then there was a race engine with something in between - 83mm? Must be very scarce.
However, the engine mentioned is a 2.7 7R, and the photo must be just for illustration, as it is a 1R.

You can put a stud in each hole. Then measure from the inside of one to the outside of the other.
This will give you the center to center measurement.
