Valve clearance question

I'm planning to run Solex cams on my 2.7L using the Mahle 8.5:1 Euro Pistons.

Has anyone done this? Does anyone know if I will have clearance issues?

Thanks, Bill

That is one of my favorate engine for a 914-6.
I build my 6 that way 8 years ago. My 6 used carbs but we've also built the engine with MFI and the customers couldn't be happies.

Thanks for the reply Henry. My engine is almost the same except I used 2.7 "S" heads and just left the ports at 35 rather than opening them up to 36.

I'm planning to run a set of 40mm Weber IDA carbs on this. Any suggestion on Venturis and Jets?

This is for my 914/6 conversion.
