New 2.4E P&Cs

Gents,

Not sure if any of you saw the Ebay sales of new 2.4E Pistons and Cast Iron cylinders. "Fastclassics" are selling the complete set for $800 and the seller has been testing these for some time. He told me wants to keep the price reasonable and for the everyday driver. Does anyone know the quailty of these P&Cs ?
I am looking to rebuild my 2.4E and this seems like a wonderful price.

Comments please.

The pistons and cylinders are offered through AA one of the sellers of 356 big bore kits. The 356 kits seem pretty good but AA is a wholesale company that offers little or no tech support. On this new product I would challenge any statement about testing for 2 years. Tested by who? Tested in what?
These products are cheep and if they truly do work, I would consider using them.
Do you want to be a Guinea pig?

Henry and Scott,

Of course I don't want to be a Guinea pig? This is why I asked the question. The price seems very low for this product, one that has been proven "ok" for the 356 big bore kit.
Henry, if these new P&C kits work well and you say that you'd buy them, then why don't you buy a set and test them for us? In the long run the sell, the buyer, and the engine builder profit.

Vr,
Bavaria
