Looks GREAT! Yowser!

Will you be redoing the bracketing at some point? It would be cool to change out those brackets dead center in front with some hime joint compression rods. They would ensure no induced bending moments on the brackets.

Looks like the bracket on the fan house could be gussetted too. Hope the comments are positively received. I know you've been under the gun with a lot of stuff, including my projects :-)

Thanks again - by the way!!

Look forward to more analysis of your HP increases, be it seat of the pants or other.

Doug

just wanted to give impressions of the initial drives etc. This car is completly transformed from before. The combo works perfect for my low boost application. It runs great off of boost and incredible on boost. Only got about 300 miles on it but so far I am very happy. One thing to note. The JE pistons do NOT slap like so many say they do on warm up. They work very well.

Ben,
I have HEAT! Pictures to follow on the old heat / exhaust thread for 3.6s.
Thank you. The T is not installed, yet. I'm used to working on a lift and not on the ground.

Congrats on your motor success.

Doug

Just got wind of this thread, Nice work! Your welder is very talented

BTW, what kind of boost were you running when the piston(s) went bye bye?

boost= was default of the wastegate as the line melted between the WG and the turbo pressure pipe. So I would guess closer to 1+ bar

The 3.0 was a great engine for me just to much CR and not strong enough pistons for the horse pressure in defualt mode. Frank There was 3.2 intake for about 500 complete in the classifieds today I think and then megasquirt it and it can look very close to this..

911 tweaks email me we can talk about your needs
