Crank combo question

Hey guys can you use a 70.4 crank with 2.2S P/C with no major piston to valve issues? Also is the 2.2S MFI tunable to this configuration or will pump have to readjusted to suit the motor?
I'm also building this on a early 2.0 aluminum case will there be any other major problems with this set up?

HI 911quest, yes piston to crankcase clearance, do a assembly check with all the parts you will be using to check clearances.

What Mike is talking about is that the pistons bottoms will likely hit the case. This problem can be machined away (on the case not the pistons).

You'll also need to weld a mount onto the alum case for the MFI pump .. 2.2S pump can run a 2.4 S spec. without issue, just richen it.
