Only a guess but we're hoping for 340 hp @ 8200 (maybe more as it approaches 8500 if the headers are right) with 250 ft/lb @ 6500 ??

I wanted to use a better set of headers but at some point you have to just run it and see what you get.

I see headers being a limitation. We saw 18whp more with a custom set of stepped headers then 15/8" euro George's on a mostly stock 3.2L and we were able to pull timing out and maintain power. I would think there are probably larger gains to be had with big cams.

None the less. SWEET engine. Any reason other then cost why you aren't using Ti GT3 rods? I was given a set and have been salivating over getting them into my 3.0L.

Just noticed that the ones on your engine look different than the ones off my 3.0 SC engine. Are they more efficient? Something you make in your shop? Are they available to us mere mortals?

He makes them. I have them on my 3.0l. I believe they are 904 inspired or something like that.

When we considered the RPM we were trying to achieve and mixed it with a piston 30% heavier than a GT3 piston, we thought (perhaps conservatively) that the titanium rods would add another layer of maintenance.
Plus, I really like the R&R rods that Charles @ LN Engineering sells.

The tin is made by us and is a replica of the 906 cooling tin. When we made our 81mm Nikasil racing cylinders, we replicated the cooling fins of the 906 cylinder and this cooling tin promotes higher air flow. That in combination with the Power Pulley that reduced fan speeds, the cylinders can pull more heat from the heads.
