Odd P&C's from 3.2 L

I was just look on my shelf and found an odd set of P&Cs from a 3.2L.
With both P&Cs being marked KS, I assumed they were alusil cylinders and onto the shelf they went, but....

Cylinders have a groove for a CE ring gasket
Cylinders are nikasil (magnetic)
Pistons are not magnetic (like the iron coated ones for alusil cylinders)
Pistons have a 23mm wrist pin (so they are 3.2 not 3.0 pistons)

Did KS make a nikasil 3.2L P&C set with CE gasket?!

I have a receipt for an engine rebuild that specifies 'replated cylinders' which may explain the cylinders - maybe they are replated 3.0 versions. But that doesn't explain the pistons eing KS and suitable for nikasil.

Thanks
Andrew M

Andrew

What are the P/N's cast into the inside of the skirt or bottom of the dome?

That can help identify the pistons.
