2.7 bore alignment
That holds the two case half's in alignment on a 2.7. I see the two round locks at the main bearing near the fly wheel. What keeps the case aligned at the rear of case? Does the nose bearing serve this purpose?

Alignment
The nose brg. #8 is the alignment for that end, shuffle pins are in addition to that for keeping it where it belongs.

You should pay for a shufflel pin job...not very spendy Plus all the other up dates for a mag case. (Then they are a great unit ! )
