tin baffles - whats the difference between these
Hi again
I have two sets of baffles for my 1985 3.2. Which one of these two types is best? I assume its the set on the right? ![]() |

The baffles on the right seem to be the updated ones. There is a tech article on this. Owners with older cars can update the baffles.

I'm baffled as to why Tom has so many different sets of baffles...

The set on the right are especially designed for 3.3 turbo cylinders that have only partial finning.
They are inappropriate for full finned cylinders like those on a 3.2 95 mm cylinders.

Henry
The tin on the right with the 'stepped' sides seem to be a better fit.... So I am crystal clear, the tin on the left is the correct set per Tom's pics? Thanks R |

The stepped tin is for 930 turbo (partial finned) cylinders only.
