Marchal alternator - what belongs to this stud?

Hi all,

I'm overhauling my engine and lost one or two of the labels I put on the wiring harness. Can someone tell me what is supposed to be attached to this stud on a Marchal alt?

Many thanks!

Dennis

Thanks for taking the time to look at my question. It would make sense if nothing goes there. When taking off the connections, I guess I temporarily replaced the D+ one on indicated stud, as I had nothing on the D+ stud.

My other guess was the ground strap to engine case, but that goes to a stud on the outside of the deflector.

Thanks

Dennis
