3.6 vacuum hose help?
I did post this in the normal forum, but got no answer. So I thought I would see if all the engine experts are hiding here
![]() I have almost completed all the vacuum lines on my 964 3.6 transplant engine, but have two points remaining that I am not sure about. See the red arrows in the following two pictures: Picture 1: ![]() Picture 2: ![]() As these two are the only ones remaining, my instinct leads me to believe that there should be a vacuum line between the two, or I have done something wrong somewhere! The only problem is that the size of the vacuum line required on the two points are not the same size, so I am a bit confused ![]()

Good luck Paul, but there's not a lot of action in this forum.
I am doing a 3.6 into an earlier car as well and I have been following your threads with interest. Unfortunately, I can't help with your problem though as I am changing the whole intake system to ITBs so my plumbing is completely different. I am currently working through some interesting challenges associated with fitting a 911 engine-mounted oil cooler as I didn't want the extra expense of putting an additional cooler up front. Keep at it.
