3.2 to PMO carbs

It has been over 20 years since I carbed a 3.2. My memory tells me I moved up the stock cams to 2.5mm, can I get a verification on that because sometimes the mind goes weak.

Bruce,

I haven't done this but here are my thoughts. Big port SC motors used retarded cam timing to get power at the top end. Those of us racing carbed SC motors use the retarded settings also for the same reason. 3.2 engines have limited top end power with the standard Motronics due to intake restrictions. If I were to carb a 3.2 I'd retard the cam timing to get more top end. This means I'd set .9 to 1.2 mm with stock cams.

I'd second the 1.2 number
