Is 2.4 distributor ok for 2.7 with Webers?

Just installed Webers on a 2.7 (from CIS). I understand I have to have the distributor recurved or it won't work right. Will a 2.4 distributor be ok? What are the issues with the 2.7 CIS distributor? Would 2.2T cams be an ok upgrade on the CIS cams to make this all work better?
thanks in advance
best regards
Marlin

The distributor will do fine. Not much difference between applications except maybe the Carrera mechanical injection distributor. More is based on the cam action.

2.4 dizzy works great with carbs on a 2.7 engine. 911T cams will not work with CIS pistons

thank you both very much. the current distributor did not seem to work correctly. will try a 2.4 dizzy this weekend. Next step if this doesn't work will be to send the dizzy to Barry Hershon to be rebuilt.
thanks
Marlin
