Tom1394racing is a good guy.

Just making a post to give Tom Butler and his business a shout out. Ordered some misc used engine parts from him for a small DD build here and the bits he sent were fantastic. Great service, parts were clean and packaged VERY well, and he shipped everything without delay. If you need some random used internals like cams, pistons, etc i highly recommend you give tom a call and see if he has what you need before searching elsewhere.

Tom if you read this, thanks again good sir!

Agreed Tom is a good guy. He doesn't put much out for sale directly, in terms of posting for sale in the classifieds. But if you ask him for something, odds are he's got it or knows someone who has what you need.

They don't come any better in my book. When '065 finally moves under her own power Tom will be well recognized for his many contributions.

I have also had a positive experience buying stuff from Tom, and was impressed with the quality of the used parts I received. (I even have more stuff on order.)

Tom is great!

I know what you mean about the parts too. I got some pistons from him a while back that were used. When I opened the box and pulled out the piston, I thought to myself: is this a new piston? Did Tom send me a new piston?

One word about the RSR conversion: Awesome.

Definitiely a top bloke! (To coin a term from my English friend.)

He helped me find a perfect (i.e. not cracked) magnesium fan housing for a 3.2 and sold it to me for a very reasonable price. Packing and shipping was thorough and prompt.

I just now ordered a couple of parts (cam towers) from him and he was very fast and patient in replying to my long-drawn out email inquiries. A real pleasure to buy from.

Tom Butler helped me out at his own cost , including postage.

Hopefully I can repay him one day.

Tom,

I know one very unhappy customer you had and had contact with him this week. The guy complained to me for not receiving the metal fuel lines from me. So I said: "What fuel lines? You never sent the payment and you expected me to ship them over-night?" He's a total jerk no wonder you brushed him aside.

When are we going to have a tee time at Quarry? See you next spring at Hershey.

Tony

Real good guy! Just got my early interior door handles, packed up right. You could tell it was packed by someone who cared. Thanks, Tom!
