Piston Squirters Again




This is how I invision the inside of a piston squirter. Can anyone confirm this is correct?

When I removed mine and destroyed them in the process that's pretty much what they look like or at least how they work.

Piston oil squirters.......

The piston oil squirters look very similar to your diagram. However, they are no where close to the main oil galley/s. From the main oil galleys, oil travels to the through-bolt bores, a smaller bore connect to the through-bolt bore/s, and finally a second smaller bore goes to where the oil squirter sits. A member (billjam) had posted a very nice picture with illustration (Engine rebuild forum) that shows the oil passages to the squirters.
