I am looking to duplicate what we have on a 2.9 on our 3.6. We need a thermostat block plate, looks just like the thermostat on the top of the case, but it is just a blank plate, 901 number on it. We are also looking for a cooler block off, sort of like the Patrick version, just no filter provisions. looks like a custom fabbed original cooler, with a -16 bung welded. Do any of the builders know where to source these items? TIA | ||

I can't help you with the parts, but what I did to bypass my cooler was this: Remove the "guts" of a stock thermostat and put two blocking discs in the oil cooler holes to block the flow. The discs were turned on a lathe, but 2 pennies also fit fine. The regular seals still work with the discs in place. Removing the guts of the thermostat is easy. The steel end on the bottom just pops off and the spring and cylinder pull out. Then you can block the air through the cooler with a sheet of aluminum. -Andy

No I don't. I never ran it. Ended up with a 993 filter and Woods adaptor for the -16.
