Anybody who's curious about the Dilivar saga, I did some checking of the parts diagrams and identified the various applications of Dilivar on the 911 engines.
Broken headstuds. Inevitable?

Well I caved today and ordered a full set of ARP studs to go along with the ARP connecting rod bolts. Two of the most prominent weak points of the 3.2 are now addressed. I just keep telling myself how much cash I am saving by doing all the work myself....

Funny how you try 'n save some money by DIY-ing it and that justifies buying more shiny goodies. Gee, no one would ever accuse ME of that.......
