Timming high over lap cams?

Anyone near Norristown Pa have any experience doing this? We have timed regular 3 liter engines and done one with a 964 cam. This seems to be a little different.

Same procedure. Do the timing with only the number 1 and number 4 intake rockers installed, leave all the others out. (If you have already installed all the rockers, you can loosen them all the way but you still need to be careful to not drive any of the pistons into the valves.).

Once you have done the timing you can check the clearance with the various methods out there after installing the number 1 and number 4 exhaust rockers.
