It's a trap...

How long and at what temp should I bake my timing chain gear off of the aux shaft to get it to slide on the shaft? I'm thinking 15 minutes at 350*

I recently did this on my intermediate shaft. I heated it with a heat gun while loaed in a two jaw puller. Took a little while and I had to rap it with a hammer and brass drift a few times to get it to start moving.
So I think your 350 degree bake job should do it. Just have the heat gun on the ready because you'll probably lose some heat when you take it out of the oven and run it over to your bench vise to pull the gear.

bake 350˚ for 30 min, baste with 30W till tender, let rest for 10 min. slice into 1/4 pieces, enjoy with a side of 1st and 2nd gears. a nice 1987 sweptco would go well with this feast
