What parts are unique to a Turbo motor?

What are the major parts that differ, for example, between a CIS 3,0, a Motronic 3,2, and a Turbo motor? I don't need exact part numbers, but just examples of the major systems that are different, and how are they different.

Examples I can think of
Pistons
Oil pump
Isn't there some kind of turbocharger oil pump? Etc.

Thanks!

Piston squirters- more volume for 930
Heads use a different alloy, valves are different Turbo vs. N/A
Cams (typical upgrade is to install SC cams)
Head studs are all dilivar
Clutch (240mm vs 225mm- until G50 came along)
Crank pulleys are different
Cylinders- fins or different alloys?
Engine case scavenge line- different exhaust manifolds prompts different oil path
Oil tank- has extra fitting for turbocharger scavenge pump
930 engine has an oil separator
930 has a different air injection system (exhaust)

Why the question John, you thinking of dropping a hot rod lump into the '69?

A few more for the list:

- The turbo (ho ho)
- Wastegate
- Recirc valve
- The oil feed line to the turbo, from a feed on a gallery between the crankcase chimney and thermostat cover.
- Oil drain tank for the turbo
- The auxiliary turbo scavenge pump (at back of 1-3 cam)
- Single 6-plug dizzy - later n/a's ran dual 6-plug dizzys
- Single plug heads vs later heads that were twin plugged
- The A/C pump stabiliser/support brace....interferes with N/A fuel rail...ask me how I now know.
- Don't know if N/A CIS is the same as Turbo CIS....as you know, I'm not clever, or interested enough to understand the minutae of the Turbo CIS system....(reckon a Tourbillon movement would be easier to understand)...control valves, anti-runon valve, recirc valve, cold start valve, secondary air gate, WUR, frequency valve, cold start injector, thermo time switch....
- Intercooler (apart from the early Turbos) with boost pressure sender and fuel cutout switch
- No knock sensors up to 964 (not sure if 993T ran them, quite possibly)
- Very coarse (crude) crank position sensor, not the later 60-2 teeth pattern on the flywheel.
- The 964T has its oil filter mounted behind cyl 2-4 where the N/A motors have their oil cooler matrix.
- Exhaust valve covers are more rigid on Turbo
- Engine mount bar; mine is different from the same vintage N/A item
- Engine mount cover; N/A items (IIRC) have an access hole at the front to be able to turn over the crank, Turbos (well, certainly the 964 vintage) has a solid cover, no cutout.
- Do N/A run two fuel pumps, front and rear?

Sure I'll think of more whilst tinkering tomorrow!

Cheers
S
