Turbokraft poor customer service

So where's Chris from turbokraft? I ordered parts months ago and now he's ignoring emails and phone calls???

Anyone having the same problems? I really hate going this route but I need help.

Sounds strange...

If you search over on the turbo side of pelican, I am certain you will see that Chris is considered a stand-up guy with excellent skills and a record to prove it.

He has always responded to my inquiries, though there wasn't much business in it for him.

turbokraft

I did see the positive searches so that's why I chose turbokraft. Unfortunately, I'm not getting the same results as others.

I'm hoping it's just vacation time at turbokraft.

I just talked to Chris today and he was very responsive. Some times people get lost in the "black hole" of modern communication. Keep trying, I'm you'll get through.
Cheers

People are people. That's something I feel often gets lost in our internet world. Like Chris, I run a small precision crafted business of high end top quality products, as do a couple of the other people posting to this thread.

I get over extended at times. I miss the occasional email. I am sometimes not in my office for the better part of a week during race season. And when I return I am so far behind that I don't remember my name.

The best in the business don't develop the reputation of being the best over night. And the work they do doesn't happen over night. Whatever Chris' reason for not getting back to you, he will. Custom engine or gearbox parts don't get made overnight. Sometimes my customers have to wait multiple months while I manufacture something for them.

Bottom line is that you won't be screwed by Turbokraft. Not that kind of company.

To the Op... Chris and the guys at TK have been finishing up on a few huge builds... Weather thats the reason or not, I dont know.

I will tell you this, Chris has spend a TON of time on the phone with me, taking away from his ability to work on something else and make money. This is why if I ever need parts, I will order from him, even if I can find it cheaper somewhere else. That is very rare these days to find customer service like that.

I recently ordered a part from him, and about a week passed, and didnt see it at my doorstep. I sent an email to him, and within a few hours, I received a reply with an explaination, and three days later, the part arrived. Trust me, Chris will not screw you.... just give it some time.

If I ever get the opportunity to get out there to AZ, I will definately be taking the guys out for lunch.. TurboKraft is one of the good shops!

If he's like me, sometimes I get back to calls and emails within minutes and sometimes I'm neck deep into a big project from open to close for weeks straight. I've ordered stuff from him and sometimes the machine shop , exhaust guy or parts manufacturer are the hold up. He has always come through in the end so rest easy. From my experience this seems to be common in the Porsche world.
