How is web cams customer service?
Im building a 930. I sent the cams away with specific instructions to re-grind them to SC specifications . I installed them yesterday, and timed them to 1.65 mm . this was at the end of the day.
I cam in this morning, I wanted to recheck my cam timing before moving forward any more, and just for the heck of it, I measured total lift at the valve and came up with 9.49 mm or .371 inch , which is just stock 930 grind. I checked my invoice from them, and it says stock re-grind. Called, and they are closed on Saturday. Hope they will work with me on this. Other than the mishap, once again , they came back within two weeks, and were works of art.

Sounds like they didn't receive your specifications... ugh. I would see if they would meet you half way on the cost for the proper fix. They were good to me with my cam weld/grind and the return packaging/spec sheet/instructions is top notch. I did phone twice a week to talk with Melissa while my parts were there.

Not a Porsche cam, but I lost a lobe on a Subaru cam after 4 years of hard use. They fixed it in about 2 weeks, charged me $80 and it looked to me like they reworked more than just the one lobe they charged me for.

"How is web cams customer service?"
Fantastic in my limited experience. First dealing was sending them a set of used Carrera/SC cores for a hardweld to their 120/104 profile. Turned them around in 2-1/2 weeks exactly as promised. Cams looked great. Second dealing was shortly after the first. I had an oiling problem with my engine and neeed the same cams repaired. Lobes were OK but the cam bearings were scored due to bearing debris. Spoke with them on the phone about the issue and they said they don't do that work but will check around. Got back to me same day and said they had someone they could sublet the work to. Sent them the cams and got them back in just over 3 weeks with fresh looking cam bearings. I think it was $349 which was a lot better than junking them and buying a replacement set of cams! Web gets my thumbs up for great service.

I've been working with WebCam since Harry was grinding cams himself. The girls are always receptive and willing to help.
Call them and give them a chance to make it right.
