Yep Frank. 4 bearing all interchange. Well, except for 993.....
Funny you are doing the reverse of what I did. I had to acquire some cam towers after I destroyed all the bearings in my engine. I got some towers from a '964 turbo with the 964 part number. They bolt up just fine with my '79 heads and '85 cylinders, to replace the '79 towers I roasted (cam bearing bores all scored badly).

If cam towers are no longer usable on a motor they still make a nice place to mount 3 heads in a row while porting them with a die grinder.
