Red face If I drill too deep on an exhaust stud - what did I do?

I'm drilling out exhaust studs but I think I went too deep. Any problem with that?

No problem, as long as you didn't drill into the head, when you get the stud out you can measure how much bottom is left in the hole, you don't need a lot, just enough to keep the stud from threading through when properly torqued.
