Torque supertec nuts
I have just installed the camshaft housing on my 2.7 with supertec headstuds.
Went off to the shop to buy a 14mm 1/2" 12point socket, came home and it doesn't fit. Interference with the housing... So what do you guys use, 3/8" with a universal socket joint and then to the torque tool? A flexible joint? |

A 3/8" 14mm 12 point works like a charm. You can get a thin wall. I don't remember needing a flex joint with the set of Supertec studs I did earlier this year. A 1/4" will work, but you may have to special order a 14mm in 1/4".

3/8" did it without a flex joint, I had one of those desperate moments there hehe
![]() I got a friend to drive to his garage and pick up all the 3/8" parts he had late in the evening. |
