Various fittings: re-use, refurb or replace?

Rebuild on a 2.7. What is standard protocol for the following pieces when doing a full rebuild?

oil temp sender
oil pressure relief spring and piston
oil pressure sender
oil tank level sending unit

Also, for the oil temp and pressure, are there double-pole senders so as to signal a gauge and a warning light for the same thing?

Thanks and HNY!

Chuck

The 2.7 has 2 OP senders, one for the light, one for the instrument. Change the former, and use the OE one. Failure of the sender for the instrument is rare. The temp sender is a reusable item, as is the level sender in the tank. Might want to change the gasket for that, but it's probably not necessary. If the OP spring and piston work smoothly in the bore, I leave 'em alone.

me too

OP idiot sender is pain to replace w/engine (and CIS) in car, and prone to leak eventually. OP senders will wear out, bot easy to replace if it happens and don"t leak. OT has no moving parts, so should last forever, and also easy ro change.
