EFI help - cam sensor placement
Hi guys,
Helping friend upgrading his old Haltech EFI with VEMS in his 930 engine Need to figure out a nice way to place the cam sensor. The engine has no distributor, and the oil scvenge pump has been upgraded to the hiflow version. Would try to avoid removing engine oil cooler and install on the cam My thoughts was to get hold of a broken distributor and mod this to take the hall sensor. Any suggestion?

Does it still have the air pump drive gear? maybe a trigger magnet there?

No, air pump drive gear is removed and high flow scavenge pump installed
See that clewett has a similar oil scavenge pump with cam sensor, maybe drill and install there
